To whom it may concern,

I’m writing this letter of recommendation for Ken Kojis and his previous involvement in our live weekend church services. Ken primarily served as one of our switcher operators. He was thorough and caught on very quickly. He was ambitious and eager to continue to learn different roles and positions in a live production setting. He began training for our Video Director role as well.

I believe his skills are good, and was a very reliable volunteer for us when it came to his skill level.

Sincerely,

Morgan Tritch

My journey with the RGC Creative Team began in late 2021 when I started training to become a proficient video director. I was a part of the production team at RGC, which runs the video production and is a Propresenter for the projectors. These are used for, in-service, online, and the satellite church across town.

My tenure at RGC was a significant learning experience, equipping me with various video production skills. I played a pivotal role in the field, managing their 8-camera system using the Blackmagic Design ATEM switcher. This involved working closely with a “Shader” to ensure the exposure of the two ENG cameras was perfectly matched despite being operated by two individuals. This unique setup, coupled with the challenge of working with older equipment that can only be transcoded to 1080i 30p, honed my ability to adapt to dynamic production environments and manage complex technical setups. The occasional choppiness and sync issues in the footage, if not exported at the matched rate, added another layer of complexity to the process.
