At RGC, every volunteer was required to read and fully understand the technical equipment in a 3-ring binder. After this initial training, we were vetted and placed into a production crew. I demonstrated my commitment and reliability by working monthly with my team members and rotating roles. I was exceptionally dedicated to my role, volunteering twice a month and every other week, ensuring the smooth operation of our video production.
The team dynamic is what keeps me coming back to volunteer every week. I love it when I get to be behind the camera and flex my creative muscles. Volunteering at Riverglen Christian Church is using my skills, talents, and experience for a greater purpose and growing in my faith through the community.

Here is an example video of me fulfilling the role of the video switcher, LIVE. “Begin Service” is a macro key that the video switcher presses to start the service. It stops playing the online graphic and switches from Graphics 1 (GFX 1) to Camera on Program.
